Start Path connects innovative startups with finance and retail corporations to spur collaboration

This month Mozio was selected to be one of the global innovators showcased at Mastercard Start Path Global Summit.  Mozio is reinventing how people move about cities by creating a seamless, integrated payment platform to take the confusion out of the local transit experience.  Mozio is currently part of the Start Path program, a global effort to support innovative early-stage startups developing the next generation of commerce and fintech solutions. Mozio’s participation reflects its progression as a global innovator in the transit and payments space.

“Mastercard and the Start Path team have been tremendous strategic partners, helping us accelerate the expansion of our ground transportation network” says John McGinty, Head of Public Transport and Partnerships at Mozio. “Through leveraging their tools and expertise we continue to redefine the local transportation experience, removing pain points for customers and giving them the choice, flexibility, and reliability they’ve come to expect and deserve.”

”Mastercard Start Path Global summit is all about connecting the right partners with the right startups to build the future of commerce together,” said Amy Neale, vice president, Mastercard Start Path. “Innovations in transit have opened up new opportunities for digital commerce and payments. Through our program, we want Mozio to find the right collaborators in the payments and retail space and help them scale operations.”
